HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital will hold its second High School Healthcare Bootcamp on January 5, 2026. The event is aimed at high school juniors and seniors who are interested in pursuing careers in health care. The bootcamp provides students with an opportunity to learn about different roles within the hospital and participate in hands-on skills sessions alongside health care professionals.

Ericka Mulroy, Nursing Professional Development Specialist for Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS), said, “This job shadowing experience is a great opportunity for students interested in choosing a career in health care to learn about the different roles at our hospital and experience hands-on skills sessions with our health care professionals.”

During the bootcamp, participants will have the chance to speak directly with HSHS employment specialists about available opportunities in the field. This interaction is intended to help students explore potential career paths before graduating from high school.

The program is offered free of charge to students through support from HSHS St. Anthony’s Foundation.

Applications for the Winter 2025 Healthcare Bootcamp are currently open, with a deadline of November 14. Interested students can apply online at https://forms.office.com/r/vidqqtXa6p. Those selected will be notified by December 1.
