Horizon Health has announced a grief support group aimed at helping individuals cope with loss during the holiday season. The program, titled “Coping with Grief During the Holidays,” will be held weekly on Tuesdays from November 18 to January 6, between 2 and 3 pm at the Horizon Health main campus in Paris.
The support group is free and open to adults aged 18 and older. It is designed to provide emotional assistance throughout Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s, focusing on strategies that encourage healing after a loss. April Stowers, who serves as the social services coordinator at Horizon Health, will lead the sessions.
“All discussions are confidential. Registration is required. Call 217-466-4862,” according to the announcement.
Participants must register in advance to attend.
