State Representative Mary Miller has expressed strong opposition to the participation of transgender athletes in women's sports. Miller accuses the Democratic Party of misleading Illinois citizens into believing that Republicans are attacking children by advocating for women's rights and privacy.

Miller asserts, "It’s common sense that transgenders should not be competing in sports against 'real' women." She believes that women's sports are being threatened by what she describes as a "woke ideology" and calls for its removal from society.

The representative argues that it is unfair for young women who have trained diligently to compete against what she refers to as "strong biological males." She claims this scenario undermines the purpose of creating women’s sports, which is to provide a fair platform for biological women to succeed and access scholarship opportunities.

Miller questions the Democrats' stance on fairness, stating, "Democrats are always talking about fairness, so where’s the equity in transgenders playing in women sports?" She insists that allowing transgender individuals to participate in women's competitions compromises fairness and equates it to cheating.

In her statement, Miller pledges continued efforts to combat what she calls the "woke mob" in Illinois, aiming to protect the integrity of women's sports and ensure fair competition.
