Veterans Memorial Park dedicated in Vandalia on Veterans Day

State Representative Blaine Wilhour, a veteran of the Illinois Army National Guard, participated in the dedication ceremony for the Memorial Wall at the newly established Veteran’s Memorial Park in downtown Vandalia, Illinois. The event took place on Veterans Day 2024.

The creation of the wall was made possible through fundraising efforts led by the American Legion Post 95 of Vandalia. Old Capitol Monument was responsible for its construction.
