After the election held on April 1, 2025, the Village of Dolton, Illinois will see a change in leadership with a new mayor and a new majority of trustees.

"Hopefully, Tiffany Henyard will never disgrace the halls of Dolton again."

One of the initial actions recommended is to conduct a comprehensive forensic audit of the village's finances over the last four years. "The public has a right to know how every penny of their money was spent."

There is also a call for transparency in financial matters, suggesting that the village put all financial information online. "They should put all finances online for the public to see what this new administration is doing."

The election brought in Jason House as the new Mayor, while Alison Key returns as Clerk. Brittany Norwood, Edward Steave, who is rejoining the board after losing his seat in 2023, and Kiana Belcher will serve as trustees.
