Fayette County deputy clerk honored for 45 years of service

Deputy Circuit Clerk Sheila Horbord was recognized for her 45 years of service at the Fayette County Courthouse. The recognition came in the form of a special certificate presented by Legislative Assistant Lori Bear on behalf of State Representative Blaine Wilhour.

A surprise retirement party was held on Tuesday, featuring "flash mob" presentations by Horbord's colleagues at the Courthouse in Vandalia. Judges and court personnel praised her work ethic and positive attitude throughout her four decades of service.
