Village of Arthur Board of Trustees will meet June 17.

1. Discussion and action on 2024-2025 Appropriation Ordinance 06-17A-2024. 

2. Discussion and action on approving the route for the July 29, 2024 Freedom Celebration Parade. 

3. Discussion and action on a request to use the Community Building and serve alcoholic beverages at an event on July 27, 2024. 

4. Discussion and action on extending through August 2024 a request to use the gazebo parking lot on Monday evenings for an event to help raise funds for non-profit organizations. 

5. Discussion and action on Ordinance 06-17B-2024: An Ordinance authorizing a variance at 416 East Illinois Street, Arthur, Douglas County, Illinois 61911 to authorize the placement of a fence with a height of six (6) feet within the area between the lot line and front yard building setback line on the petitioner's property. And to authorize the building of an enclosed porch within the front yard setback area requirement. 

6. Discussion and action on Ordinance 06-17C-2024: An Ordinance authorizing a variance at 215 East Illinois Street, Arthur, Illinois 61911 to authorize an accessory building on their lot with a height exceeding the maximum height of fifteen (15) feet and placement of said accessory building within the side yard setback area. 

7. Discussion and action on the purchase of two (2) Panasonic Toughbook 55 laptop computers for the Police Department. 

8. Discussion and action on a proposal from R & R Services of Illinois, Inc. to grind the yard waste pile in the amount of $14,150.00. 

9. Discussion and action on the hiring and compensation of Public Works personnel. Executive Session (5 ILCS 120/2(c)(1).) The appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the public body.
