State Representative Chris Miller from Hindsboro expressed his concerns following Governor JB Pritzker's State of the State and Budget Address delivered to the General Assembly.

Miller criticized the budget management under Pritzker's leadership, stating, "The Illinois budget has ballooned year over year with JB Pritzker in charge and rather than cut wasteful spending, we will stretch the tax dollar just a little further until eventually we’ve raised every fee, fine, surcharge, business tax, and gambling tax. We are taxed to death." He emphasized that approving budgets that increase fees and taxes while using altered projections burdens taxpayers and ignores fiscal challenges.

For further details or inquiries, constituents can reach out to Representative Miller’s office at (217) 508-4108. Miller represents Illinois’ 101st House District covering parts of Coles County along with portions of Champaign, Douglas, and Vermilion Counties along the I-57 corridor.
