State Representative Adam Niemerg is working with the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity (DCEO) to enhance understanding of resources available through the Small Business Capital & Infrastructure Grant Program. This week, DCEO is offering two grant training sessions to aid applicants.

The first session, a technical assistance webinar for the Small Business Capital & Infrastructure Grant Program, will address the application process. It aims to support small businesses in acquiring capital for infrastructure improvements, essential equipment, or new property purchases. This webinar is scheduled for January 14, 2025, at 11:00 a.m.

The second session focuses on GATA Training related to registering in SAM.gov. The DCEO Office of Accountability will guide participants through applying for a Unique Entity Identifier and completing SAM.gov registration and renewal steps. This training will take place on January 15, 2025, at 9:00 a.m.

Applicants must be GATA pre-qualified and ensure their grant activities align with eligible expense requirements. These trainings are designed to help businesses capitalize on this competitive grant opportunity.

All available DCEO grants can be accessed on their website.
