Dieterich High School alum serves at Jimmy Carter’s funeral

Kolton Kidd, a Montrose resident and 2023 graduate of Dieterich High School, participated as a member of the Honor Guard during President Jimmy Carter's funeral proceedings in Plains, Georgia. He also served as part of the "Casket Guard" earlier this week.

According to his mother, Amber Kidd, Kolton will be involved in next week's presidential inauguration for President Donald Trump.
