Shelby County Board Member Teresa Boehm faces continued felony charges

Shelby Co., Ill. (ECWd) –

On September 11, 2024, the court docket indicated that Teresa Boehm's felony criminal case will continue with a pre-trial appearance scheduled for October 2, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. in Courtroom A. Additionally, Boehm has been granted permission to leave the state of Illinois.

Boehm, a Shelby County Board Member, was previously indicted in January 2024 by a Shelby County Grand Jury for violating the Public Officer Prohibited Activities Act and Unlawful Participation by holding statutorily conflicting public offices.
