Kansas home prices fall in the first half of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2020 in Kansas fell by $17,500 while total sales remained unchanged with two homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2020, there were two homes sold, with a median sale price of $21,500 - a 44.9% decrease over the $39,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Kansas in the first half of 2019, as well.

The median sales tax in Kansas for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $621, approximately 2.9% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2020.
