Q4 2019 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Crawford County?

There were 13 offenders released on parole during the fourth quarter of 2019 that live in Crawford County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by East Central Reporter.

The data shows that nine men and four women were released in Crawford County. The median age of the parolees was 38. The youngest parolee was a 20-year-old man sentenced for a property crime in 2018, and the oldest was a 63-year-old man sentenced for a sex crime in 2014.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Elaine J. Stout. She was convicted of a crime involving alcohol in 2013 when she was 55 years old. She is now 61.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the fourth quarter of 2019 in each Crawford County municipality with at least one parolee in the quarter.
