City of Casey issued the following announcement on Nov. 28.
As we wrap up leaf season, the Street Department would like to thank those who have bagged their leaves, and who have raked up distinct leaf piles, both of which make our job easier. Your efforts are much appreciated, as we have 27 miles of streets to cover. As leaf season wraps up, this is a just a reminder to those on curbed streets that blowing leaves between the sidewalk and the street is not a manageable leaf pile; instead please put them close to the back of the curb - not into the gutter - where the leaf vac can pick them up.
