Palestine home prices rise in the second quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2019 in Palestine rose by $8,001 while total sales increased by 75%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2019, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $52,000 - a 18.2% increase over the $44,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Palestine in the second quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Palestine for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $1,137, approximately 2.2% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2019.
