Illinois State House District 109 issued the following announcement on Aug. 23.
State Rep. Darren Bailey (R-Xenia) announced today that he is beginning a “Senior Edition” of his “Darren’s Two Cents” legislative update. Constituents are encouraged to contact the office to receive the “Darren’s Two Cents: Senior Edition” either by mail or e-mail if copies are not available at their living facility.
“I have been traveling around my district meeting with residents and businesses and consistently have had people ask about if they could get a paper version of my legislative update,” commented Rep. Darren Bailey. “Assisted living facilities have offered to make copies and help distribute to their residents to help older citizens stay informed about what is going on at the state level of government.”
