City of Marshall issued the following announcement on July 11.
2nd Annual Harvest on Fire KCBS BBQ cook-off. We will be hosting a KCBS BBQ competition and Vendor Fair on Sat. July 13th.

Tickets in advance will be 6.00 when purchasing online, 5.00 when purchased directly from the winery. Tickets will be 10.00 at the gate. The first 100 people will receive a Harvest on fire Logo Glass and 6 complimentary tasting tickets for wine samples. If you purchase after we reach the 100 people, you will still receive a winery logo glass and 6 tasting tickets.

Prize Money Purse - $5850.00-based on 25 teams
Grand Champion – $1500.00 plus trophy
Reserve Grand Champion –$ 750.00 plus trophy
Individual categories – Chicken, Ribs, Butt, Brisket
1st – $400.00 Each, plus trophy
2nd – $200.00 Each
3rd – $100.00 Each
4th- $75.00 Each
5th- 50.00 Each
$400.00 Towards the 4H Scholarships.
