Are you pouring a patio, building a fence, planting a tree, or installing a mailbox? The law requires that you or your contractor call JULIE1call at least two days BEFORE any excavation project begins.
This allows utility companies to clearly mark their underground service lines (like cable, gas, and electric) on the property where the work will take place. They will leave varying colored flags or other markers to distinguish the type of utility below.
