City of Effingham issued the following announcement on Jan. 25.
Mayor Bloemker commented, "Firefly Grill has evolved from being a unique purveyor of interesting and delicious food options amidst a sea of fast food. to an iconic culinary institution bringing fans to Effingham from afar who are confident they will experience a satisfying dining model of food quality, food preparation, food presentation, and service.
