City of Mattoon issued the following announcement on Jan. 14.
Join a screening of a 30 minute movie that captures what it is like to transition into the civilian world after being in combat. The movie captures a Vietnam veteran and the recent conflicts. There will also be an announcement the new branch of the Coles County Veterans Support organization, REBOOT Combat Recovery. This event is geared towards all combat veterans from 18-99 and their families. Child care and pizza will be provided. The Fields Church is located at 900 Dewitt Ave. in Mattoon.
