City of Mattoon issued the following announcement on Oct. 8.
Veteran's Day Parade
Sunday, November 11, 2018 10:00 a.m.
Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Armistice of November 11, 1918.
Register to participate in the parade by completing and submitting the form below.
Parade entries begin line up at 9:00 a.m. at 21st Sreet and Western Avenue.
A ceremony at Peterson park will follow the parade at 11:00 a.m.
Mattoon Christmas Parade
This year's theme is "Elf on the Shelf."
The event is Saturday, November 17, 2018 at 1:00 p.m.
Register to participate by completing and submitting the form below.
Parade entries begin line up at 12:00 noon at 21st Street and Western Avenue.
