Marshall City Council met April 11 to approve the treasurer’s report on the balance of city funds in the amount of $8,808,739.63 for March 31.
The motion was passed with all members' approval.
The council also approved the collector’s collection in March in the amount of $998,851.31, transferred to city funds; approved the police report with $2,450.03 in fines for the month of March 2016; approved Pay Application #3 from Hoerr Construction Inc. for the Sewer Lining Project in the amount of $88,597.80; approved Pay Application #2 from Dashiell Contracting Inc. for the Casey Water Main Project in the amount of $148,183.35; approved a street closing request for street closing for the Downtown Sidewalk Sales and the Lemonade Stand/Strawberry Fest; and approved to pay bills as presented in the amount of $151,309.04.
Marshall City Council meetings are held every second and fourth Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m. at City Hall, which is located at 201 S. Michigan Ave.
