The Tuscola City Council met on Monday to discuss a request by BETH's Place to conduct a collection bucket fundraising event on May 28.
The city council also discussed a financial report from March, the payment of bills in the amount of $300,232.22; and a payment request by Building Systems of Illinois for $206,626.60. Building Systems of Illinois also submitted a change order request for $836.
Tuscola City Council meetings are held on the second and fourth Monday of every month. If a city recognized holiday falls on a second or fourth Monday, the meeting is rescheduled for the following Tuesday. Council meeting are open to the public.
