Crawford County taxpayers ranked 80th in total sales taxes paid per county in July, according to Illinois tax records.

In total, residents paid $128,940 in sales taxes during July.

The county ranked 82nd in the Prairie State the month before, with $126,743 spent in sales taxes.

The largest share of sales taxes paid by Crawford County residents in July came from the County Sales Tax.

The County Sales Tax is a local sales tax imposed on retail sales of goods and services within a specific county.
