State representative welcomes Dieterich High School students to the Illinois Capitol

Thank you to Social Studies teacher, Mr. Ryan Repking, and Principal, Scott Kocher, for bringing the Dieterich High School seniors to the Capitol this week to see the legislature in action. The students were able to observe debate during the controversial legislation to regulate homeschools and private schools (House Bill 2827) sitting in the Speaker’s Gallery.

"I always enjoy meeting with our next generation of leaders, and I look forward to having some of them serve as my Page-for-a-Day in the future."
