State Representative Blaine Wilhour has announced the cancellation of his Traveling Office Hours scheduled for January 8 due to severe weather conditions in south central Illinois. The decision follows a snow and ice storm that has impacted the region over the past two days.
"With major roadways such as Interstate 57 and I-70 being closed off and on, and smaller roads around the district needing snow and ice removal, it is best advised for people to stay home and stay safe," said Rep. Wilhour. He reassured constituents that his staff would be available again in February for in-person meetings. In the meantime, he encouraged residents to contact his office by phone or email for assistance with any state office or program.
