A permanent injunction has been issued against Dolton Mayor Tiffany Henyard, along with the former police chief, attorney, and village administrator of Dolton. This legal action follows a temporary injunction granted in September 2024 to three Dolton Trustees. The temporary measure was put in place due to Henyard's alleged unlawful attempts to appoint a village administrator, village attorney, and police chief, as well as efforts to dismiss the current village administrator.

Mayor Henyard and the other defendants chose not to respond formally to the Complaint. They waived their right to a hearing and consented to the establishment of a permanent injunction. As part of this agreement, they have committed to "abide by and follow all current village ordinance and village codes."
