FOIA Request to City of Flora Regarding New and Active Residential and Commercial Building Permits on October 30, 2024.
In our ongoing commitment to providing comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at East Central Reporter have sent a request under the Illinois Freedom of Information Act, 5 ILCS 140, to the City of Flora. The request is for records of all new residential and commercial building permits issued from January 1, 2023, up until the present date.
The requested details include the type of permit, date issued, fee paid, requester's name, address where the permit applies, and contractor's name. In addition to this information for new permits, we have also asked for a list of all active residential and commercial building permits along with their current status.
