Appellate court denies Dolton mayor's appeal on restraining orders

The Illinois Appellate Court has denied Dolton Mayor Tiffany Henyard's interlocutory appeal regarding the restraining orders issued by the Cook County Circuit Court. The temporary restraining orders (TROs) had removed three appointees of Mayor Henyard due to the board not providing their advice or consent, as mandated by Illinois municipal law. Additionally, the court's decision reinstated Keith Freeman as Village Administrator.
