"Dr." Chris Boehm of Findlay recently filed a complaint with the ARDC against the Shelby County State’s Attorney, making allegations of misconduct and violations of legal rules. The complaint, filled with what has been described as 'incoherent ramblings filled with false and misleading information,' was closed just seven days after being brought to the attention of the State’s Attorney.

One of the key claims in Boehm's complaint was related to the swearing in of witnesses during Grand Jury proceedings. In response to Boehm's assertion that oaths were not commonly administered during these hearings, the Shelby County Clerk clarified, stating, “I have never seen oaths given before.” Evidence, however, suggests that oaths were indeed given in a previous hearing in Shelby County, contradicting Boehm's claim.

Boehm also raised concerns about his rights during a hearing, claiming he was not advised of his right to counsel or to remain silent. He further alleged that questions were designed to incriminate him, though it was pointed out that the nature of the hearing was not criminal in nature.

Furthermore, Boehm's complaint mentioned a grand jury investigation involving the Supervisor of Assessments in Shelby County, Deborah Dunaway. Questions were raised regarding the handling of documents and potential election interference, with concerns raised about the accuracy of statements made during the hearing.

Despite receiving immunity from prosecution for his testimony, Boehm expressed concerns about being exposed to a perjury charge. However, it was clarified that as long as his testimony was honest, he would not face such charges.

The complaint filed by Boehm has since been closed, with no findings of wrongdoing. Efforts are being made to obtain copies of other complaints filed by Boehm, none of which have resulted in any actionable outcomes. Additionally, there is a pending investigation into the validity of Boehm's claimed doctorate degree.
