Q1 2022 Recap: 1 parolee from Coles County convicted of crimes involving alcohol set for release

There was one offender convicted of a crime involving alcohol living in Coles County released on parole during the first quarter of 2022, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the East Central Reporter.

The data shows the released offender was a man. He was convicted in 2021 when he was 34 years old. He is now 35.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
