Census Bureau: 69.9 percent of people in Bridgeport were old enough to vote in 2020

Of the 1,919 citizens living in Bridgeport in 2020, 1,342 were old enough to vote as of March 24, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 598 of those people were female and 744 were male.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
