On Dec. 20, Bernard E. and Helen L. Barrett sold their home at 312 West St., Hume to Sarah D. and Jesse A. Williams for $105,000.

The property tax paid for this property in 2020 was $1,079.90. This is 1.03% of the sale price of the home.

So far in December 2021, this is the only property that sold in Hume as of this publication.

According to the Illinois State Board of Elections, Helen Loretta Barrett (94) has been registered to vote since 1997 and has voted in at least 14 primary elections, records show, including 14 Democratic Primaries.

There were no other registered voters living at the residence as of Oct. 10, 2020.
