Due to a rise in COVID-19 positivity rates in local communities, HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital has updated their visitor guidelines to allow only one (1) visitor per patient, with some exceptions. Updated guidelines went into effect on Tuesday, August 10. Click here to read more.
The Effingham County Chamber, Effingham Regional Growth Alliance, and The City of Effingham have partnered to host a multi-employer Virtual Job Fair on Tuesday, August 17 from 10a-12p.
Participating employers include: Continental Mills; Hospital Sisters Health System; Peerless of America; Pepsi MidAmerica; and Three Z Printing.
The Effingham County Chamber is going virtual for the 4th Annual Fall Draw Reverse Raffle on Friday, September 24 at 5:30pm. This year’s event will be hosted LIVE by Dr. Ryan Jennings on the Chamber’s Facebook page - @EffCoChamber – with a Grand Prize of $5,000!
Reverse Raffle tickets are open to the public and are $50.00 each. Only 300 tickets will be sold, which gives you a one in 10 chance of winning cash or a prize. Tickets can be purchased online or at the Chamber office located at 903 N Keller Dr. in Effingham.
