City of Neoga issued the following announcement on Jan. 27.
The City of Neoga sent a letter to the residents notifying them of a couple big project that were starting this week. The water and sewer lines project will be replacing lines in the downtown area. This will be done in the alleys between Chestnut and Walnut as well as Oak and Locust. We ask that you use caution while traveling in those areas and if possible avoiding that area. Please understand that there are many businesses that will be affected by this project and we are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. We are hopeful that that this project will be done in a timely fashion. We encourage all resident to continue to patronize our local businesses, but understand that there will be extra traffic and it may take longer to get around town.
