City of Mattoon issued the following announcement on Oct. 9.
Citywide Halloween Trick or Treating will take place on October 31st from 6-8pm. Houses that choose to participate should keep their porch light on. Trick or treaters should observe social distancing guidelines. Happy Halloween.
