Findlay Fire Protection District responded to 19 calls in 2018 - 13.6 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Findlay included 16 fires - eight structure fires, seven vehicle fires and one other fire. The fire department also responded to one call for ruptures, explosions or overheating.

In all, the department saw $155,500 in fire loss - or about $9,719 per fire.

The department also received two false calls.

The Findlay Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $133,331 in 2017.
