City of Mattoon issued the following announcement on May 6.
The City of Mattoon is accepting applications for a full time meter reader in the Finance Department. The Finance Department oversees billing and collection for water and sewer customers of the City.
The Meter Reader assists the water billing office by collecting water meter mobile reads necessary for billing consumption to customers. Executes work orders and provides maintenance related to the meter system. Works under the supervision of the Finance Director and billing clerk.
Completed applications must be submitted by e-mail or delivered to the City Clerk's Office by noon on Friday, May 22, 2020. Responses to this Facebook Job posting without a completed City of Mattoon Employment Application will be rejected.
