City of Neoga issued the following announcement on April 4.
The Neoga Community Food Pantry will be having food distribution Thursday, April 2nd. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the stay-at-home shelter in place, we must make modifications. Please read the following carefully.
1.Distribution will be from 5p-6p. Please do not come early. The entrance will be barricaded until 5pm. Once you arrive, stay in your vehicle until instructed to pull forward to receive your food box.
2.Have your trunk cleaned out. Once instructed to pull forward to your designated area, you will simply pull up, pop your trunk, and your food will be placed in your trunk.
3.No choice items or meat will be distributed for this month. Modified food boxes will be distributed.
4.Please remember we are here for you, and we are all in this together! To stay healthy and smart, these modifications were necessary! Again, once you arrive, stay in your vehicle. No entrance will be made to the Community Center. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know!!
