CITY OF MARSHALL: Ready Business: Preparing a Disaster Business Plan

City of Marshall issued the following announcement on Jan. 18.

According to the Federal Emergency Management Agency, many small businesses never reopen after a disaster. Preparing your business for a disaster can help save lives, merchandise, money, and your livelihood. The new year is an excellent time to prepare!

Join Community and Economic Development Extension Educator Steve Groner to learn how business owners, managers, and employees can reduce risk, understand business survival, and develop a plan.

The workshop is free, but please register by February 5, 2020 by calling 618-943-5018. The program will be on February 12, 2020 from 8 am until noon at the Clark County Extension Office at 15493 N. State Hwy 1, Marshall, Illinois.
