City of Newton issued the following announcement on Jan. 10.
AARP Tax Aide will be providing services at the St. Thomas Parish Center on Mondays in February and March this year!
Although we provide services through AARP, we're open to all low and moderate-income taxpayers in Jasper County and the surrounding area.
Services are totally free, but people must make an appointment by calling the St. Thomas Church office at 618/783-8741
