City of Newton issued the following announcement on Dec. 28.
The Housing Rehabilitation project in the South/Central portion of the City of Newton is beginning to take off. The City is still looking for interested Housing Rehabilitation contractors interested in bidding on this project. The program activities cover interior and exterior structural improvements. Interested contractors are urged to contact the Housing Project’s Inspector Ron Markus at 618-322-7473.
