Arthur Community Unified School District 305 Board of Education met Aug. 22.

A special meeting of the Arthur Board of Education was called to order by President Beth Wiley at 7:00 pm on August 22, 2019 in the Arthur CUSD Unit Office with the following members present: Suzi Berkich. Brock Casteel. Monica Green. Kristie Mechling, Justin Wierman, Beth Wiley and Mr. Shannon Cheek. Ryan Nettles arrived at 7:04 pm.
A motion was made by Suzi Berkich, seconded by Brock Casteel to enter executive session at 7:01 pm under the Open Meetings Act for self-evaluation, practices and procedures, or professional ethics, when meeting with a representative of a statewide association of which the District is a member. 5ILCS 120/2(c)(16). All members present voted yea. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Suzi Berkich, seconded by Monica Green to leave executive session at 10:16 pm. All present voted yea. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Suzi Berkich, seconded by Justin Wierman to accept executive session minutes as read in executive session. Upon roll, all members present voted yea. Motion carried.
A motion was made by Brock Casteel, seconded by Ryan Neithes to adjourn at 10.1 am. Al members present voted yea. Motion carried.
