Q1 2019 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Crawford County?

There were nine offenders released on parole during the first quarter that live in Crawford County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by East Central Reporter.

The data shows that six men and three women were released in Crawford County. Of the parolees, one is a veteran, and the median age is 37. The youngest parolee was a 27-year-old man sentenced for a property crime in 2017, and the oldest was a 56-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2018.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Jerod W. Robinson. He was convicted of a crime involving alcohol in 2015 when he was 29 years old. He is now 33.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
