City of Casey issued the following announcement on Dec. 21.
Beginning in January, Casey will have a full time School Resource Officer serving Casey schools. This officer needed a vehicle to patrol both schools and school zones. We wanted something the kids could relate to and that shows school pride. The department then raised money to cover the expense of a new car & equipment. Once the goal was met we then opened the car design decision up to the public & businesses and individuals who donated to the cause. Well the votes are in (922 of them!!) and the car is complete! The inspiration for the design came from the High School Football helmets. We are so excited to unveil the new School Resource Officer vehicle to you!
