Marshall City Council met June 11.
Here is the minutes as provided by the council:
The regular meeting of the City Council was called to order at 6:30 p.m., with Mayor John Trefz presiding. Upon roll call, all council members were present.
Mayor Trefz as for a moment of silence in respect for the passing of Jim Ryan. Jim served on the City Council for many years.
LeFever made a motion, seconded by Green, to approve the minutes of the previous meeting as written.
Upon roll call, all council members voted for. Motion carried.
Strait made a motion, seconded by Green, to pay the bills in the amount of $926,377.02. Upon roll call, all members voted for. Motion carried.
LeFever made a motion, seconded by Smitley to pay Shore-Murphy Associates in the amount of $30.00.
Upon roll call, all council members voted for except Tharp. Tharp abstained due to the nature of her ownership in the business. Motion carried.
No Executive Session was needed as there was nothing new to discuss at this time.
LeFever made a motion, seconded by Green to adjourn. Upon roll call, all council members voted for. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 6:40 p.m.
