Teutopolis Fire Protection District responded to 20 calls in 2017 - 4.8 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Teutopolis included 10 fires - three structure fires, five vehicle fires and two other fires.

In all, the department saw $14,500 in fire loss - or about $1,450 per fire.

The department also received 10 false calls.

The Teutopolis Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $61,161 in 2017.
