Village of Teutopolis Village Board met March 21.

The regular meeting of the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Teutopolis, Effington County, State of Illinois, was held in the Village Hall of said Village March 21, 2018 at 7 pm
The president called the meeting to order upon roll call the following trustees were present:
Daniel Zerrusen yes
Johnt Mette yes
Kenneth Esker yes
Joseph Schumacher yes
Greg Oseland yes
David Tegeler yes
It was moved by Kenneth Esker, seconded by Greg Oseland and carried that the minutes of the last meeting by approved as read.
It was moved by Greg Oseland, seconded by John Mette and carried that the treasurer’s report be accepted and placed on file.
It was moved by Greg Oseland, seconded by Daniel Zerrusen and carried that the board report be approved and the March bill paid.
JoAnn Sasse Givens, from the Effington County Chamber of Commerce, addressed the board and presented the survey results on Life and Work in Effingham County. She stated overall positive feedback was received on housing, workforce and the community. Top concerns were more recreation, retail stores/restaurants, better jobs and lower taxes. Board members thanked. Ms. Givens for the survey information.
Motion was made by Joseph Schumacher, seconded by Greg Oseland to pass Resolution No. 604, a Resolution approving a subdivision plat for Commercial Subdivision, 3rd addition. By roll call vote - Daniel Zerrusen, yes; John Mette, abstained; Kenneth Esker, yes; Joseph Schumacher, yes; Greg Oseland, yes; David Tegeler, yes. 5 yes, 0 nays, 1 abstained, motion carried
Motion was made by Greg Oseland, seconded by John Mette to change employee health insurance coverage to Healthy Lifestyles through IL Rural Water Association. By roll call vote - 6 yes, 0 nays, motion carried.
After briefly discussing the proposal from Imagine This for website redesign it was agreed to table a vote until the April meeting and have Joseph Schumacher contact Imagine This for clarification on the services to be provided.
It was moved by John Meet, seconded by Greg Oseland and carried to adjourn the meeting.
