Village of Strasburg Board met Jan. 24.

The Strasburg Village Board of Trustees held a special board meeting on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at the Strasburg Community Center for the purpose of purchasing a truck for the Village. Village President Ron Thomas called the meeting to order at 9:00 AM with all reciting the “Pledge of Allegiance”.
In attendance were President Ron Thomas, Trustees Bob Anderson, Cinda Held, Alice Jeisy, Anita Renshaw and Chuck Wade, Village Clerk Linda Oakley, Joe Oakley and Todd Apke. Trustee Jack Clark was absent.
Information was disseminated regarding the 2001 Dodge Ram BR3500 truck.
Motion by Trustee Held to purchase a 2001 Dodge Ram BR3500 for the cost of $9603.00 from
Goeckner Brothers in Effingham was seconded by Trustee Anderson. Motion voted on and carried. Anderson – yea; Clark – absent ; Held – yea; Jeisy – yea; Renshaw – yea; Wade – yea. 5 yea – 0 nay – 1 absent.
Motion by Trustee Held to adjourn the meeting was seconded by Trustee Anderson. Meeting was adjourned at 9:17 AM.
