Cowden Herrick Community Unit School District 3A Board of Education met May 11.

The regular meeting of the Board of Education of Cowden-Herrick C.U.S.D. 3A was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by the President Greg Jones.
Those present at the meeting were: Greg Jones, Megan Miller, Mike Myers, Rita Prosser, Zach Sarver and Nathan Vaughn.
Those absent: Luke Nohren.
A motion was made by Mike Myers and seconded by Zach Sarver to approve minutes from regular board meeting, Sine Die and special board meeting held on April 20, 2017, as well as the current board bills, high school revolving fund, general office fund, and treasurer’s report for the month ending April 30, 2017.

A motion was made by Zach Sarver and seconded by Mike Myers to hire Aaron Nohren for 2017 summer maintenance help at $9.00 per hour, 27 hours per week for ten (10) weeks.
